DREEMM's heart and primary focus is to carry out one of the assignments and mandates of Christ, which is to see everyone delivered, set free, and made whole.
In Matthew 6:18
Jesus is teaching the Disciples how to pray, and as part of that pattern of prayer, they were instructed to pray "deliver us from evil". This was a prayer that was to be prayed daily, as indicated by verse 11, "give us this day our daily bread".
As Jesus sends the disciples out, he gives them the following instructions as recorded in Matthew 10.
Matthew 10:7-8
7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
As DREEMM follows and adheres to the principles stipulated in the Word of God, we first focus on the individual. Making sure that they are in the right relationship with Christ, delivered and equipped themselves before they are sent out to help others.
For far too long vicious cycles have been in the church, which was conducive for a 'spirit of religion' to propagate through the church. Due to the fact that deliverance was avoided and not talked about.
We feel that as Christ prepares to return for His bride, that part of that preparation includes raising Deliverance Ministries up, as a sort of Spiritual Laundry Facility, whereby His children can become washed and cleansed. DREEMM just happens to be one of those Spiritual Laundry Facilities raised up for such a time as this.
