A wounded spirit brings down. It never lifts us up. Satan knows this. He wants us down, ineffective paralyzed and spiritually dead!

A wounded spirit is comprised of:

• Trauma and reinforced trauma
• Rape
• Rejection, Self-rejection and perceived rejection
• Un-Godly Belief’s

Spiritual rape is a violation against yourself which affects your identity and your self-worth. 

• It robs you of your joy, your peace and drains life out of you.
• It is an assault, an act of force upon another person.
• It takes by force, using weapons of fear, coercion, intimidation and manipulation. 
• Rape is not just physical it is a form of psychological warfare.

What does a broken spirit feel like?

• A sense of holding back or being unable to relax in certain situations that remind you of painful incidents from the past.
• A deadening of your spirit, such that you sometimes can't feel joy, experience intimacy or cry appropriate tears numbing inside you.
• It causes you to lose your voice.
• It is designed to paralyze you and shut down your identity and destroy your self-worth.
• It tries to isolate you, especially from those who are equipped to offer you a life jacket

What would be extremely beneficial is if the person that fired the words (because it is like a gun going off to injure you), would:

• retract the words, statement or actions
• apologize for the words, statements or actions
• and replace the words, statements or actions

Our #1 weapon of power to overcome this spirit and be healed is LOVE!

• We must love God
• We must love ourselves
• We must love others
• We must replace our vision: what do you see and how do you see it.
• Let the Word of God affirm you

THE PRAYER

Dear God

I come before you in the matchless Name of Jesus, Your Only Begotten Son.

I thank you for this time and space to come before Your presences.

Today, I reject the lies and the plans of the enemy, and I ask for your help as I encounter the joy that liberation brings!

I honor you as Jehovah Shammah, the One who is present with me in times of trouble!

I honor You as Alpha and Omega; the One who knows my end from my beginning.

I honor you as Abba Father, The Everlasting God!

I trust your word which confirms that when I cry out to You, You hear and answer me.

Today, I desire to be cleansed healed and delivered from everything and everyone that hinders me from loving You fully; loving myself fully and loving others fully!

I consecrate and surrender my mind, will and emotions to You!

I bind up all fear, lies, confusion, unbelief, anger doubt and unbelief that has been assaulting and violating my temple, in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Only Begotten Son!

I take authority over all the demonic forces that would try to hinder or block or bring confusion, deafness and dumbness to me during this time of healing.

I bind all of these including those unknown to me but known to You who have tried to destroy me and rob me of my destiny and steal from me the abundant life that You promised me!

I command them to be silent and exit taking all the baggage and relatives that they brought in with them.

I reject them and cast them out of me and away from my bloodline.

Now Father, I ask you reveal to me truth!

Reveal to me the things that You want me to see; the doors that were opened; the things that I need to break agreement with; the things and areas that You want to heal me of!
